  I purchased two tires for my son's Jeep from the tire shop. He began having issues with his front end so I took his Jeep to Lou's Automotive where I was informed that the tires I purchased were nearly 20 years old and that the manufacturer had stopped producing those kinds of tires 12 years ago. I was told that it is illegal to sell someone tires that old and that although the tire appeared to be in good condition, a tire that old deteriorates and had caused the sidewall to blow out. I contacted the Tire Shop and was told to call back after the owner had returned from lunch. When I called back, it would ring once and then someone would hang up on me. I then decided to call from my cellphone and they answered the phone on the first ring. I asked to speak to the owner and the woman who answered was extremely rude and asked me what I wanted. I started to explain the situation to her and she became very aggressive and began yelling at me and then hung up on me. I called back and they sent my call straight to voicemail. My family has been doing business with the Tire Shop for 20 years. All I was hoping for was a polite, sincere apology and perhaps a small gift certificate. However, after the way I was treated, I will be filing a lawsuit against the Tire Shop and seeking damages.
